Create an XP Continuous Access Journal delta resync pair
that extends from the primary site to the XP Continuous Access
Journal secondary site. For information about requirements

Recovering from primary site and XP Continuous Access Synchronous secondary site failures

If a disaster or failure occurs in the primary site and XP Continuous Access Synchronous secondary
site in a 3DC multi-target configuration, you can resume your business tasks using the secondary
volume in the XP Continuous Access Journal secondary site. After transferring your business tasks
to the XP Continuous Access Journal secondary site, remove failures from the primary site and
Continuous XP Access Synchronous secondary site, and transfer your business tasks back to the
primary site.

To transfer your business tasks to the XP Continuous Access Journal secondary site:

Use XP RAID Manager to execute the

horctakeover

command on the XP Continuous Access

Journal pair.
