Transfer tasks from XP Continuous Access secondary sites to primary sites (3DC cascade)

If you follow the instructions in

Recovering from primary site failures

and the system changes to a

3DC cascading configuration, you can transfer your business tasks back to the primary site after
removing failures from the primary site and other locations.

To transfer your business tasks back to the primary sites:

1.

Stop your business tasks at the XP Continuous Access Synchronous secondary site.

2.

Use XP RAID Manager to execute the

horctakeover

command on the XP Continuous Access

Synchronous pair. The system configuration returns to a 3DC multi-target configuration.

3.

Use the primary volume at the primary site to resume your business tasks.
