The terms initiator and host are used interchangeably. The initiator is the host that is accessing
the storage.
e. Click the Discovery tab, ( Figure 22 ).

f. Click Add to add the IP address of Port 1 on the mpx100/100b.
g. Click OK to exit.
h. Click the Targets tab.
nl The target status is Inactive ( Figure 23 ).

i. Select a single target and then click Log On.
j. Click Automatically restore this connection when the system boots (do not enable multipath),
and then click OK ( Figure 24 ).
The target status is Connected.
