MIXED Use this item to describe the type of image that the original
contains.
Select text for the best text quality, photo for printed
halftone graphics, glossy photo for photographs, or mixed if
the original is text and graphics.
TEXT/PHOTO MIX 0-8 Use this item to determine the priority of text and graphics
if
CONTENT is defined as mixed. (This item only appears if
MIXED is set as the default). You can select from nine
increments.
0 =emphasis on text
8 =emphasis on graphics
HEAVY PAPER ON
*OFF Use this item to determine whether heavy media is being
scanned.
If
HEAVY PAPER is set to ON , the scanner will adjust the
tension on the media as it moves through the scanning
area. The setting can impact output quality for media
whose weight is more than 100 g/m² (26-lb bond).
