Scan the storage system at the remote site:

Perform a scan over a range that contains volumes to be defined in the copy group and
a command device (for the reverse direction) to be registered in the storage system of
the remote site.

A DAD ID assigned by a scan (Local Device Address Domain ID in the Set Defaults panel)
must be the same DAD ID assigned by performing a remote scan at the remote site from
the primary host.

For details on how to perform a scan to acquire storage system information, see

“Acquiring

volume information” (page 588)

.

2.

Define a path set consisting of inter-CU logical paths (Intermediate

→ Primary) and inter-DKC

logical paths (Remote

→ Intermediate) that are in the reverse direction (or specify a path using

Remote Web Console).

A CU to be specified for a path set must include a volume to be defined in a Cnt Ac-S copy
group and a command device for the reverse direction.
