of XP Continuous Access Journal and XP Continuous Access Synchronous
(When Delta Resync Operation Is Performed)

If a disaster or a failure occurs only in the primary site of a 3DC multi-target system, use the
secondary volume in the XP Continuous Access Synchronous secondary site to enable the secondary
site to take over your business tasks. After transferring your business tasks to the secondary site,
remove the failure from the primary site so that you can transfer your business tasks back to the
primary site.
To transfer your business tasks to the XP Continuous Access Synchronous secondary site, follow
this procedure:

1.

Use RAID Manager to execute the horctakeover command on the XP Continuous Access
Synchronous pair.

2.

Use the XP Continuous Access Synchronous S-VOL to resume your business tasks.
