Remove the EPS-R module in the procedure below, after referring
to “Before starting operation” on page 57:
1 Remove the lock if it is attached on the security loop on the
back of the server.
2 Disconnect the power cable from the power connector of
power supply module to be removed.
NOTE: The power supply module to which the power cable is
connected cannot be pulled out.
3 Grasp the handle to pull out the EPS-R module while holding
down the eject lever of the EPS-R module and draw the
module out halfway, and gently remove the EPS-R module
holding it with both hands.
Pulling out the EPS-R module
NOTE: Wait at least one minute before returning the power
module to the server. If the power module is inserted
immediately, the system might crash or the server might be
damaged.
