3 Press <F2> to start the BIOS setup utility, then select “CD-

ROM Drive” from the boot menu.

4 Press <+> to increase the CD-ROM drive’s order in the boot

sequence.

Press <+> to move “CD-ROM Drive” to a higher order in the
boot sequence than “+Hard Drive”.

5 Press <F10>, then <Enter> to end BIOS setup.

When you press <F10>, the changes are saved, and the system
restarts.

6 Immediately press the CD-ROM drive’s eject button and insert

the CD-ROM for booting the OS.

NOTE: The CD-ROM can be ejected from the CD-ROM drive
unit only when the system is turned on or rebooted.For
starting up the server by the CD-ROM drive unit, it is required
to set the startup CD-ROM in the drive before the Onboard
SCSI Controller BIOS setup menu appears as a series of the
POST screen after the power button is turned on.

If the startup CD-ROM is set in the drive too late, restart up
the server by pressing the <Ctrl>+<Alt>+<Delete> keys
together.
After the startup CD-ROM is once recognized, the hard disk
drive is disabled from starting up the server, even if the CD-
ROM is ejected.
