6 When the “Found New Hardware Wizard” screen is displayed,

select “Next”.

7 When the “Install Hardware Device Drivers” screen is dis-

played, select “Display a list of the known drivers...” and select
“Next”.

8 Select “SCSI and RAID controllers” at “Hardware types”, and

select “Next”.

9 Select “Unknown Manufacturer” at “Manufacturers” and

select “Next”.

10 When the “Update Driver Warning” message is displayed,

select “Yes”.

11 When the “Start Device Driver Installation” screen is dis-

played, select “Next”.

12 When the “Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard”

screen is displayed, select “Finish”.

Installing the onboard network adapter driver

1 Start Windows 2000, and log onto Windows 2000 as the

Administrator (or a user having equivalent rights).

2 Select “Start” - “Settings” - “Control Panel” - “System” -

“Hardware” - “Device Manager”.

3 Two "Ethernet Controller" are displayed under the "Other

devices".
Select uppder "Ethernet Controller" and right click on it. Select
"Properties" in the menu that is displayed and Ether1 adapter's
properties are displayed.

4 Select “Driver” tab, then select “Update Driver”.

5 When the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard starts, select “Next”.

6 Select “Display a list of the known drivers…”, select “Next”.

7 Select “Network adapters”, select “Next”.
