IMPORTANT

Do not use Explicit Messaging to set parameter
objects that are changed frequently. An Explicit Set
causes an NVMEM write. The nonvolatile memory
has a limited number of write cycles.

Note: Explicit Get commands have no effect on
NVMEM.
