NOTE:

If the expansion card you are installing is of a different operating speed as the card already installed on

the same PCI bus, all expansion cards on that bus will operate at the slower speed.

1. Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.

3. Disconnect all expansion-card cables.

5. Position the expansion-card cage so that the riser board lies horizontally on your work surface.
