Configuring email notifications
Note:
This procedure is optional.
To set up email notifications of library events:
1.
Expand Configure Library, if necessary, and click Notifications in the left
navigation pane of the Web User Interface.
2.
Click the SMTP (Mail) Settings tab.
3.
Configure the SMTP server and header settings.

SMTP server address
- SMTP mail server address. IPv4 and IPv6 addresses
are supported. Host names can be entered instead of numerical IP addresses
if the DNS server is specified in the Network settings.
v
Sender address
- Mail header information.
v
Subject
- Mail header information.
4.
Enter the email addresses to be notified when an event takes place in the Mail
To
fields.
5.
Select the event level to report in the Mail Event field.
6.
Click Test to send a test email message to the enabled addresses.
7.
Click Submit to enable the settings.
