The battery pack is quickly

• The ambient temperature is too low.

The clock shows
• Replace the lithium battery with new one. In this
case, reset the dock (page 18), and if necessary,
reset the timer recording.

The playback picture is not
clear.
• The video heads may be contaminated. Clean the
heads using the Sony V8-25CLH cleaning
cassette (not supplied).
• The video heads may be damaged.
Have the video heads replaced with new one.
During recording, the picture
is not clear.
• The TV signal is too weak. Adjust the telescopic
antenna or connect an external antenna.
Recording cannot be made.
• The safety tab on the cassette is slid out to
expose the red mark.
• Moisture condensation has occurred.
• The tape is at its end.
• A cassette is not inserted.
The tape does not run even
though the tape transport
button is pressed.
• Timer recording setting has been made.
Press TIMER REC ON/OFF and turn on the unit
again.
• Moisture condensation has occurred.
The camera recording cannot
