Appendix H Install Extra Hard Disk (RACK series)
Beside one hard disk can be installed in one hard disk in removable HDD drawer, user can install four more
SATA hard disks inside the DVR unit.
Please refer to the below steps to install the hard disk:
1. Loosen all screws (2 sides and back) and push the
cover backward and lift to open the case cover.
2. Loosen all screws of HDD rack and remove the HDD
rack from DVR unit.
3. Place the SATA hard disk into the HDD rack. The
HDD rack can hold up to 4 SATA hard disks in total.
When place the hard disk inside the HDD rack, user
needs to pay attention about the round hole at button
of HDD rack that must match the round bump on the
chassis bottom of the DVR unit. Therefore, please
refer to the below figures to place the hard disk
inside the HDD rack.
