5. Disconnect these cables from the SFP board:
— Front panel data
— Front panel USB
— All fan power cables
— Flex cable
— Optical device power cable
— Power interconnect to PDB
6. Remove the screws (“A”).
7. Gently work the SFP board backward (“B”), toward the rear of the chassis to
disengage the light pipe from behind the front control panel bezel.
8. Pull the front panel board up over the placement pegs ("C") and lift it from the
chassis.
9. Remove any other components you have installed on the SFP board, such as a
Intel ® RAID Smart Battery, Intel ® RAID Activation Key, and mini-DIMM. Set them
aside for re-installation on the new replacement SFP board.
