Note; The car model,
installation conditions and
combination oi the units
used may impose some
restrictions on opening
and closing the monitor as
well as on the angle and
position to which the
monitor can be adjusted.
Insert the Mounting Collar (

) into the dashboard, and
bend the mounting tabs out with a screwdriver.
Fastening the Mounting Collar
The tabs to bent vary depending on the car. Bend them
with a screwdriver to fasten the Mounting Collar®
securely in the dashboard.
f—Dashboard
Attach the Mounting Springs ® to the display unit.
Establish the rear connection ot the unit.
After fixing Power Connector Display Unit/Hide-away
Unit Connecting Cord and Optical Fiber Cable ф, fix
the rear of the unit to the car body by either method (a) or
(b) shown at right.
Insert the unit into Mounting Collar ®
Secure the clamp plate ot Mounting Collar
@ to the hook of Mounting Spring Q).
Insert Trim Plate ©.
After installation
reconnect the negative
(-) battery terminal.
