1. Switch on the personal computer
2. Start the terminal program PTerm

Establish a connection between the PC and servo amplifier (COMx –
X6 on the PMCprotego D)
Communication parameters: Transmission rate = 38400, handshake =
Xon/Xoff
3. Start the commissioning software PDrive

Start up PDrive.
4. Establish communication between the PC and servo amplifier

Click on “PC <-> Connect Amplifier”.
The servo amplifier downloads the control parameters to the PC.
5. Do not enable the power element

In the service bar, click on the icon
.
The status appears as “DISABLE” under “Enable axis”.

Please note the following requirements:

The servo amplifier must not be enabled (ENABLE = 0).

The mains voltage must be switched off.
1. Select “Basic Setup”
