(ACTFAULT=1), the motor is braked using the set emergency braking

ramp.

Behaviour when the undervoltage threshold is reached

The value of the undervoltage threshold will depend on the type of servo

amplifier. If the actual value drops below the undervoltage threshold in

the intermediate circuit, error “F05” (undervoltage) is displayed. The re-

action of the drive depends on the setting made for the parameters ACT-

FAULT and STOPMODE.

Behaviour when the "holding brake" function is enabled

Servo amplifiers on which the “holding brake” function has been ena-

bled have a separate procedure to switch off the inverted rectifier. The

removal of the ENABLE signal initiates electrical braking.

A potential malfunction of the holding brake must be consdiered. Bring-

ing a motor to a standstill safely using the holding brake requires an ad-

ditional electromechanical N/O contact for the holding device and a

suppression device for the brake.

Behaviour of the safety function STO

The safety function STO activates the pulse disabler on the servo ampli-

fier and removes the power to the motor.

The behaviour of the servo amplifier always depends on the current set-

ting of various parameters (e.g. ACTFAULT, VBUSMIN, VELO, STOP-

MODE, see commissioning software's online help).

The diagram below illustrates the correct functional sequence when

switching the servo amplifier on and off.
