TO SET BIAS (if necessary)

If location of the unit is near a time zone border and the

CDMA time is off (typically 1 hour), set the bias as follows: (

otherwise go to Step 2)

If "CDMA Sync Failed" is displayed, reference the troubleshooting
guide.

The CDMA sync option is now configured and will update the time
on the System Controller automatically once each hour at a time
preset at the factory.

Note: When CDMA synchronization is working, CDMA=S will be

displayed on the screen in small text mode as shown in screen shot

. If a synchronization attempt fails, CDMA=N will be displayed.

Connecting CDMA Receiving Antenna

This option provides time synchronization via Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA). This is often used in the mobile telephone industry. It

eliminates the need to mount an outside antenna.

No wiring hookup needed for this option (CDMA receiver is

installed inside the System Controller).
Attach hinged screw-on antenna to system controller as shown.

Note: CDMA sets time zone and DST information from cell tower.
