Device IP—IP address of the spoke.
{
Device Type—Type of the device, BIMS or Routers. BIMS indicates that the device is managed
by IMC BIMS. Other values indicate that the device is managed by the IMC Platform.
Adding spokes to a group
1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the navigation tree, select IPsec VPN Manager > IPsec Resources > VPN Domains.
The VPN Domain List displays all VPN domains.
3. Click the name of a DVPN domain.
The configuration page of the DVPN domain appears. The page contains two tabs: Device
Information and Tunnel Connectivity Audit. By default, the Device Information tab is displayed.
4. Click Group Management.
The DVPN Group List displays all DVPN groups in the domain.
5. Click the name of the group to which you want to add a spokes.
The Device List displays all spokes in the group. You can add platform devices to the group through
steps 6 through 8 or add BIMS devices to the group through step 9.
6. Add platform devices to the group.
Click Add and select the platform device by view through step 7 or by query through step 8.
7. Select a device by view:
a. Click the By View tab. There are three types of view: IP View, Device View, and Custom View.
b. Collapse a view.
All devices for the view are displayed at the upper right of the window.
c. Select a device in the Devices Found list and click the Add selected icon to add the device
to the Selected Devices list.
d. To remove a device from the Selected Devices list, select the devices in the Selected Devices list
and click the Remove Selected icon
.
e. Click OK.
8. Select a device by query:
a. Click the Advanced tab, and specify the following query criteria:
− Device IP—Enter the IPv4 address of a device. If you select Exact Query, you must enter a
complete IPv4 address. If you do not select Exact Query, you can enter an incomplete IP
address for fuzzy query. For example, you enter 192.168 to query all devices that have an
IP address starting with 192.168.
− Device IP List—Configure multiple device IP addresses to be searched. Click the link.
Then, the Device IP List Configuration window appears. Enter one or multiple device IP
addresses in the Input Device IP field (To enter multiple IP addresses, enter one IP address on
each line), and then click Add to add the entered IP addresses to the Device IP List field
below. Repeat the steps above to add all device IP addresses to be searched. To delete an
IP address in the Device IP List field, select the IP address and then click Delete. Click OK to
complete the operation. Make sure that the device IP addresses to be searched have been
added to the Device IP List field. To clear the Device IP List field, click the Clear icon .
− Device Label—Enter a device label. You can enter an incomplete label for fuzzy query. For
example, you can enter db to query all devices that have a label containing db.
