Enabling/disabling monitoring of IPsec tunnels

By default, IVM monitors all IPsec tunnels. You can manually exclude specified IPsec tunnels from IVM

monitoring. IVM stops collecting monitor index data of these tunnels.
To enable or disable monitoring of IPsec tunnels:

1.

Click the Service tab.

2.

From the navigation tree, select IPsec VPN Manager > IPsec Resources > IPsec Tunnels.
The Active Tunnels tab displays all IPsec tunnels in the Tunnel List.

3.

Select the IPsec tunnels you want to enable or disable monitoring.

4.

Click Monitor On or Monitor Off.
A confirmation dialog box appears.

5.

Click OK.

Deleting IPsec tunnels

You can only delete IPsec tunnels in Disconnected state.
To delete IPsec tunnels:

1.

Click the Service tab.

2.

From the navigation tree, select IPsec VPN Manager > IPsec Resources > IPsec Tunnels.
The Active Tunnels tab displays all IPsec tunnels in the Tunnel List.

3.

Select one or more IPsec tunnels you want to delete.

4.

Click Delete.
A confirmation dialog box appears.

5.

Click OK.

Viewing

the tunnel event history

IVM records the tunnel setup and disconnect history based on the tunnel setup and disconnect traps

received from IPsec devices, and displays the tunnel event history in the Tunnel Event History list. An IPsec
device sends tunnel traps to IVM only after you set tunnel setup and disconnect traps for the device. For

more information, see "

Setting tunnel traps

."

To view the tunnel event history:

1.

Click the Service tab.

2.

From the navigation tree, select IPsec VPN Manager > IPsec Resources > IPsec Tunnels.

3.

Click the Tunnel Events tab.
The Tunnel Event History list displays all tunnel events.
Tunnel Event History list contents

{

Time—Time when the tunnel was set up or disconnected.

{

Local Device Name—Local end device name of the IPsec tunnel. Click the name to view the
device details.
