5.5.42 Closed Loop function
The encoder must be automatically connected to the ATS software through its ID number.
8 Click the Closed Loop function.
Data communication between control (TNC/NC) and encoder is picked up by a signal splitter
(in the example: SA 100 Service Adapter, ID 363706-01). The encoder loop remains closed and
the NC control can still traverse the machine axis.
Prerequisite:
"Listening in" is only possible with purely serial interfaces (EnDat 21 and 22, Fanuc, Mitsubishi).
The subsequent electronics must support this diagnostic function! The diagnostic function of
the subsequent electronics (TNC control) must be active!
