Verifying the Data Host

An error in the A2 or B2 FC link can result in a device being listed as in an
“unusable” state in

cfgadm

, but no HBAs being listed in the “unconnected” state in

the

luxadm

output. The multipathing software will note an offline path, as shown in

CODE EXAMPLE 5-4
