Storing a Document

You can store and send a document at
the same time. You can also just store
a document.

File names

Scanned documents are automati-
c a l l y a s s i g n e d n a m e s l i k e
“FAX0001” or “FAX0002”. See
p.135 “Setting a file name”.

User Names

You can set this function if neces-
sary to know who and what de-
partments stored documents in the
machine. See p.135 “Programming
a user name”.

Password

You can set this function so as not
to send to unspecified people. See
p.135 “Setting a password”.

Make sure that the machine is in
facsimile mode and the standby
display is shown.
If th e st and by display is n ot
shown, press the

{{{{Facsimile}}}} key.

Place the original, and then select
the scan settings you require.

Press [Stored File].

Select [Store & Transmit] or [Store only].
Select [Store & Transmit] to send
documents after they are stored.
Select [Store only] to store docu-

set the user name, file name, and
password as necessary.
