How to add a digital signature to the PrintMessenger Installer

Follow the steps below to add a digital signature (PKI, Public Key Infrastructure, or certificate authority)
to the PrintMessenger driver installer (MSI). This will prevent problems with installation on Windows 7
arising from the driver installer’s not being signed.

1.

Go to Administration > Site Settings and open the About tab.

2.

In the Version Information section, copy the site GUID (which follows GUID = ).

3.

Locate the following files issued by the certification authority that is providing you with the digital

certificate.

credentials.spc

password.pwd

privatekey.pvk

4.

Copy the files into the folder C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\DSF\dsffiles\upload\[SITEGUID you copied from

the About tab in step 2 above]\DriverSigning on your Digital StoreFront server.

5.

Go to Administration > Installers and rebuild the Windows and Mac PrintMessenger print drivers

by clicking Execute in the BuildInstaller column.
