when ordering MCD VDP products (i.e., available in the Select Data Source pull-down list on the
Personalization page). To remove this option for buyers, check this box.

This option is enabled by default to ensure backward compatibility with pre-4.5 versions

To set security for a multi-column data set

The multi-column data set association is governed by the basic security settings in Digital StoreFront.

For information on the Digital StoreFront security model, see

Digital StoreFront Security Model

.

Based on the MCD security settings, a buyer will see the list of only those MCDs which he (or his
Company/Group/Department) has access to. For example:

An MCD called “Managers List” has security set to grant Use Access only to Managers group.

Another MCD called “All Employees” has security set to grant Use Access to Managers and
Employees groups.
