4. Open the input file and select Compose Template on the Steps list.

5. On the Composition Settings dialog, select the Output tab.

6. Check the box Output to multiple files. (This will prevent FusionPro from using the Output File: file

name in that field.)

7. Type 1 in the Number of records per file field.

8. Click the Compose button.

Don't forget this step when doing composition.

Importing FusionPro Templates into Digital StoreFront

After you create your templates, tag variable data areas on them (where the customer’s personalized
information will be printed), and use the Web Collect utility to package the templates into appropriately
formatted zip files, you are ready to import them into the system during the process of creating a
Fusion Pro variable data product.

The procedure for importing a group of template-based products into the system is similar to that of
adding any other product (document) to your online catalog (see

Importing Products

).

To create a FusionPro product in Digital StoreFront

1.

Go to Administration | Products to open the Manage Products page.

2.

Click Create Product.

3.

On the Create New page, type a Product Name for the product.

4.

From the Type pull-down list, select Fusion Pro.

5.

Click Next.

6.

On the Progress

Information | “Information” page:

a.

Product Name—Name of the product for administrative purposes. It can be the same as the

displayed name. This is the only field required to make a product. The product name can
include up to 50 characters.

b.

Display As—Can be a more buyer-friendly name of the product that will appear to buyers on

the product pages on the storefront.

c.

Product ID—Product code or SKU. The product name can include up to 50 characters.

d.

Direct Product Link: A hyperlink to the page where the product is located.
