Site Configuration—Product Import Settings Tab
Overview of Product Import
The Product Import tab is where you specify the temporary folder in which product and product image
files are placed that will be imported into Digital StoreFront. Note that, once imported, the files will no
longer be in the product import folder because they are now in the system under a new path.
What are Product Import settings for? When should you use them?
Specifying the root folder to which product
and product image files are uploaded. This is the root folder from which files are
imported to Digital StoreFront during catalog
import. Leave blank to let the system
determine this location or enter a known path
on disk where the files to be imported reside.
To specify the product import folder
You can accept the default by leaving the default option selected. This will let the system
determine the product file import location. It is recommended that product files be
uploaded/imported on the Product Import page (see
Product Import ).
1. To specify a folder from which files will be imported to Digital StoreFront during catalog import,
select the non-default option and type a valid path to the folder in the text field.
2. Click Save Changes.
