Purpose of this Manual

This manual is a reference guide for the 1734-AENTR, 1738-AENTR Series B
POINT I/O Dual Port EtherNet/IP and ArmorPOINT I/O Dual Port
EtherNet/IP Adapters, communications adapters for POINT I/O modules. It
describes the procedures you use to install, wire, configure, troubleshoot, and use
your module.

ATTENTION: You must only use Series C and above POINT I/O
modules with 1734-AENTR EtherNet/IP Adapters. Series A or Series B
POINT I/O modules do not work with 1734-AENTR EtherNet/IP
Adapters (does not apply to POINTGuard modules).
