Connecting the PSR6000-ACV power cable

The PSR6000-ACV is a built-in power module with AC input and DC output. It can provide the switch with

both system power and PoE power, which can be controlled through separate power switches. Before
connecting the PSR6000-ACV power cable, make sure the system and PoE power switches are off.
The PSR6000-ACV provides four power sockets:

One system power socket, as shown in callout 5 on

Figure 25

.

Three PoE power sockets, as shown in callout 8 on

Figure 25

.

Connecting the system power cable is the same as the PoE power cable. The following illustrates how to

connect the system power cable.

The PSR6000-ACV is shipped with a power cable retainer suite. Before connecting the power cable to

the PSR6000-ACV, attach the retainer suite to the power cable.
To attach the power cable retainer suite:

1.

Fasten the retainer suite to the plug of the power cable. Attach the left and right parts of the retainer
suite to the power cable according to the relative positions shown in

Figure 26

. Otherwise, you

cannot align the screw holes of the retainer suite to those on the power module.

2.

Use a No.1 Phillips screwdriver to fasten the two parts of the retainer suite together.
