Remove the paper tray and remove any partially fed paper.

Reinstall the paper tray.

Close the printer access door and secure the locking latches.
The printer will enter its warm-up cycle and in a minute the front panel
display will indicate Ready.
For all paper jams, check the following:
•
Make sure the paper is flat, dry, and within specifications. Fan the paper
before inserting it to loosen the sheets and make sure the edges are flush.
•
Do not insert too much paper into the paper tray. The paper tray holds a
maximum of 250 sheets of 20 lb. paper.
•
If you are low on paper, insert more paper in the paper tray.
•
Make sure the paper size matches the Paper option selected in the Page
Setup dialog box.
•
Make sure the paper length guide in the paper tray matches the size of
paper in the paper tray.
