Leased line backup
Essential backup for leased lines can be provided using ISDN as required,
rather than duplicating costly permanent leased lines.
LAN to LAN bridging
Local area network (LAN) bridge/routers allow flexible interconnection
between LANs using ISDN, with charges only incurred when information
is actually transmitted.
