6.6.2 Upgrading the Instrument Software
You can obtain the software for the update from the Internet under
www.hach-lange.com > International > Downloads > Software
1.
Enter DR 2800/DR 2800 eco in the field under ”Search for
documents“.
2.
Save the update on a USB stick (Cat. No: LZV568).
3.
Press Instrument Update.
4.
Connect the USB stick to the USB interface (Type A) of the
DR 2800/DR 2800 eco, see
.
5.
Press OK.
6.
The link is established automatically and the software is
updated.
7.
Press OK to return to the ”System Checks“ menu.
Note: When the instrument software has been updated, you are prompted
to restart the instrument.
6.6.3 Optical Checks
1.
Press Optical Checks in the ”System Checks“ menu.
The ”Optical Checks“ menu contains programs for checking the
wavelength accuracy, stray light and photometric accuracy.
To carry out the checks, you need the appropriate test aids and
sample cells.
As an optional accessory, a certified test filter set
(DR 2800: LZV537; DR 2800 eco: LZV537 and LZV583) with
6 precision glass filters, target values and a detailed description is
available as a test aid for carrying out comprehensive in-house
checks.
