Installation

DANGER
Only qualified personnel should conduct the tasks described
in this section of the manual.

3.1 Unpacking the instrument

1.

Remove the DR 2800/DR 2800 eco spectrophotometer and
accessories from the shipping container.

2.

Do not push any loose objects under the instrument, as this
could affect its stability.

3.

Inspect each item for any damage that may have occurred
during shipment.

4.

Verify that all items listed in Standard Accessories are included
(see

3.1.1 Packing List on page 13

). If any items are missing or

damaged, contact the manufacturer or a sales representative.

5.

Do not send the instrument back without previous arrangement.

Note: Take good care of the original packing material. If the
spectrophotometer has to be sent in for post-certification or maintenance,
the original packing must be used to protect the instrument against damage
during transport.
