7.1.3.2 Pour-Thru Cell
Important Note: Do not use solvents (e.g. acetone) to clean the
Pour-Thru Cell. A dilute acid solution can be used for cleaning.
Rinse thoroughly with deionized water.
If windows are cloudy or soiled, or bubbles form, add 50 mL of a
detergent solution to the cell and wait for a few minutes to allow it
take effect. Then purge the cell thoroughly with distilled water. If
necessary, the pour-thru cell can be taken apart to be cleaned.
Wipe the windows of the cell with a soft cloth only – paper towels
and other paper products may scratch the glass.
