5.5.1 Carrying out a LANGE Barcode Cuvette Test
Important Note: Before you carry out a LANGE Barcode Cuvette
Test you should insert the Light Shield in the cuvette compartment
(2).
1. Insert the Light Shield.
2. Prepare the LANGE barcode test in accordance with the
working procedure.
a. When a coded LANGE round cuvette (round cuvette with
barcode label) is placed in the cell compartment (1), the
corresponding measurement program is activated in the
”Main Menu“.
b. Press Barcode Programs in the ”Main Menu“.
3. Insert sample cuvette or blank (depending on the working
procedure) into the cell compartment.
The measurement process and the result are displayed
automatically.
To evaluate other cuvette tests and other parameters, place the
prepared cuvette in the cell compartment and read the result.
5.5.2 Selecting the measuring range
Some LANGE cuvette tests can be used for different measuring
ranges. After the sample cuvette has been inserted, a list of the
different measuring ranges is displayed.
Select the measuring range you require by pressing the appropriate
line.
Press Start Permanent if this measuring range is to apply to all
subsequent measurements.
Changing the standard setting
In the result display, press Options, More..., Permanent: On. The
key now reads Permanent: Off.
