5.5 Barcode Programs
DR 2800/DR 2800 eco
A special barcode reader in the cell compartment automatically
reads the coded information on each LANGE round cuvette while
the cuvette completes a single rotation. The instrument uses the
barcode identification to automatically set the correct wavelength
for the analysis, and calculates the result immediately with the help
of the stored factors.

In addition, several measurements are carried out at various points
around the cuvette during this rotation. Outlier values are
recognized and eliminated and the average of the remaining
readings is calculated. This method increases the precision of the
measurement results, and eliminates any errors caused by soiling
of the cuvette.
