Recall the next buffer entry. The
buffer contains only the last 10 items
you have deleted or cut. If you press
<Esc-Y> more than 10 times, you will
cycle back to the first buffer entry.

Press <Esc-Y>

Erase the character to the left of the
cursor.

Press <Delete> or <Back-
space>

Delete the character at the cursor.

Press <Ctrl-D>

Delete all characters from the cursor
to the end of the command line.

Press <Ctrl-K>

Delete all characters from the cursor
to the beginning of the command line.

Press <Ctrl-U> or
<Ctrl-X>

Delete the word to the left of the cur-
sor.

Press <Ctrl-W>

Scroll down one line.

Press <Enter>

Scroll down one screen.

Press the <Space> bar

Redisplay the current command line.

Press <Ctrl-L> or
<Ctrl-R>

Transpose mistyped characters. The
character to the left of the cursor will
be transposed with the characte
located at the cursor.

Press <Ctrl-T>

Capitalize at the cursor.

Press <Esc>, then <C>

Change the word at the cursor to low
ercase.

Press <Esc>, then <L>

Capitalize letters from the cursor to
the end of the word.

Press <Esc>, then <U>

Insert a system code for this purpose.

Press <Ctrl-V> or
<Esc-Q>

Disable enhanced editing mode and
revert to the editing mode of previous
releases.
