NOTE:

In the current version, the channel type is always displayed as Fibre.

Initial Copy Priority: Initial copy operations priority (scheduling order). The value can be within
the range of 1 to 256 (disabled when the status becomes PAIR).

Error Level: Range used for splitting a pair when a failure occurs.

Group: If a failure occurs with a pair, all pairs in the consistency group where the pair
belongs are split.

LU: If a failure occurs with a pair, only the pair is split.

S-VOL Write: Indicates whether write I/O to the secondary data volume is enabled or disabled
(enabled only when the pair is split).

Other Information: Displays the following:

Established Time: Date and time the volume pair was created.

Updated Time: Date and time the volume pair status was last updated.

Refresh the Pair Operation tab after this window is closed: If selected, the Pair Operation pane
is updated when the Pairdisplay pane closes.

Previous: Displays the pair status information for the previous pair in the list (the pair in the
row above).

Next: Displays the pair status information for the next pair in the list (the pair in the row below).

NOTE:

The Display Filter settings (see

Filtering information in the list on the Pair Operation pane

)

can affect how Previous or Next is recognized.

The list displays a maximum of 1,024 rows at once. The Previous and Next buttons on
the Pairdisplay pane can only be used for the currently displayed 1,024 rows.

Refresh: Updates the pair status information.

Close: Closes the Pairdisplay pane.

Changing options for data volume pairs

Use the Change Pair Option pane to change options for a pair of data volumes.

Only the primary array's administrator can perform the following operation. The secondary array's
administrator cannot perform the following operation.

1.

Ensure that XP Command View Advanced Edition Software or XP Remote Web Console is in
Modify mode. For more information, see the HP StorageWorks XP Command View user guide
for XP Disk Arrays
or the HP StorageWorks XP Remote Web Console user guide for
XP12000/XP10000/SVS200
.

2.

Display the Pair Operation pane (see

Displaying the Pair Operation pane

).

3.

In the list, select and right-click the desired pairs.

NOTE:

You can change options only for pairs in PAIR, PSUS, PSUE, HOLD, or HLDE status.

If you select a pair in another status, you cannot continue with the subsequent steps.

4.

Select Change Pair Option. The Change Pair Option pane appears (

Figure 62 (page 143)

).

5.

Change pair options, and click Set.
