Fitting pneumatic components

Please note
S Make sure that there are no dirt particles or other objects in the connections

of the gripper and the tubing.

S

Check to see if the following are necessary:

A compensation reservoir
type VZS−...

A non return valve, piloted
type HGL−...

These will reduce fluctuations in the
pressure.

In this way you can prevent the work load
from sliding down if there is a sudden drop
in pressure.

If the compressed air connections are close together (e.g. HGP−10−...):

S

Use only straight screw connectors.

Angled screw connectors may impede each other.

S

Use Festo screw connectors (e.g. type QS−...).

If products from other manufacturers are used, the eccentric pressurization
holes of the gripper may be closed.

S

Connect the HGP−... to the compressed air connections

the compressed air connections.
