User Logon
Settings

None

Sends the user at the device directly to the Send screen
without displaying the Logon screen. If you select this
option, you must specify a generic e-mail address, or select
User modify, or select both.

Generic e-
mail

A generic e-mail address that is used as the sender account
for all mail.

User modify

Allow the user to modify the sender’s e-mail address at the
device.

LDAP

Requires the user at the device to enter the user name and
password specified for the LDAP server.

Windows

This option is only available if you select Active Directory as
your server type.

Allows the users at the device to use their existing Windows
logon information, via the SAMAccountName attribute, to
log on at the Logon screen.

Domain

The Windows domain name, populated from the Account
Settings
window. This is required if you select the Windows
option.

Novell

This option is only available if you select eDirectory as your
server type.

Tree

The Novell tree. This is required if you select the Novell
option.

Settings
Summary

Allows you to review your settings. Click Back if you need to
change any settings. Click Finish to apply your settings to
the connector profile.

To change any settings after you quit the Wizard, click
Properties on the connector’s Configuration tab in the
Administration console.
