To create a copy of a group:
Sometimes it is easier to copy and edit an existing group of connector profiles, rather than to
create a new group from scratch.
1 In the Publish Connector Profiles window, select the group you want to copy.
2 Click Edit . The Modify Device Profile window opens.
3 Enter a name for the new group, select Save As , and click OK . A copy of the group of profiles is
saved under the new name.
To use a backup copy of connector profiles on a target device:
1 Start the Administration console on the target device.
2 Import the backup copy from the BackupConnectorProfiles folder on the target device (see
“Backing up or sharing configuration files” on page 56).
To use published profiles on a different device:
1 Start the Administration console on the device on which you want to use the published
profiles.
2 Import the profiles and publishing information from the eCopyPublishingInfo folder, which is
under the base location folder on the source device (see “Backing up or sharing configuration
files” on page 56).
Note: You can edit the copied group of profiles before saving it to the Base location.
