2.6.2. Routes - providers

Here routes are allocated that can be used by the external line bundles to make

a connection. They are always selected in the order of the first external line from
the bundle. At the same time this is where it is defined how many numbers from the
number called are subtracted and what numbers are prearranged – or which
operator will be selected for providing a least cost route.

It is also necessary to enter on what day and hour the given route is to be used.

The selected bundles use it independently of the programmed bundle selection for
the internal subscribers in the authorisation table. It is possible to take away 14
numbers at most and the number of automatically prearranged numbers is not
allowed to exceed 30. The symbol “T” means crossing over to tone dialling, a
comma (,) means a delay in dialling and “W” means switching to tone dialling and
waiting for log in (possible for ISDN, int. GSM or analogue external lines with a tariff
impulse, E&M), if a log on does not come then it carries on with the DTMF dialling
after the set time.

For each route, if ISDN lines are used in the outgoing bundle, then it is possible

to assign identification using the MSN numbers identically as when setting the
services and private MSN numbers for the internal lines. It is particularly beneficial
to use this for outgoing calls to private circuits.

Example 1: How to learn that during outgoing calls to a number starting with 0603
route 0 is used, which goes through the PBX’s GSM module of the operator Paegas.

The dialling to the Paegas mobile network given above has a predetermined route

0. This, for instance, is allocated to bundle 5 in which there is the external line with the
GSM module. None of the numbers have to be added or subtracted as the code 0603
is still in the memory (nowhere was called, it was only used for decoding to allocate the
route) and after being picked up the port in bundle 5 calls to it. The next number
dialled by the internal subscriber is automatically filled in thus achieving cheap calls to
a mobile phone from an internal subscriber though the GSM module.

Example 2: Our PBX is in Prague. If, for instance, the outgoing call starts 05 333666,
which is the number of the firm’s branch in Brno, which also has the module for GSM
