2.14.5. Types of Establishing Connection
It is possible to establish connection with an 2N
®
- OMEGA Lite PBX to be
supervised:
• automatically; or
• manually.
2.14.6. AUTOMATIC CONNECTION
Settings of PBX To Be Supervised
Automatic connection can be used for a PBX provided that:
1. a DDI to the ISDN line ringing chart is reserved for remote supervision;
2. an ISDN MSN line is reserved for remote supervision;
3. a CO line is reserved for remote supervision;
4. the DISA to the ringing chart is used;
5. the modem connection detection is enabled in DISA.

Note:
With remote supervision type 5, you have to set the GLOBAL DATA –
MODEM – Modem switch to remote supervision in the programming
tool. The DISA tone may not be dialtone permanently.
