2.14.1. What Remote Supervision Provides:

• time RESET setting
• PBX port status monitoring
• speech bus traffic monitoring
• call billing DATA downloading

2.14.2. What You Need
To establish a modem-based remote connection you need:
• a PC with installed OMEGA Lite Program
• a modem (not winmodem) connected to the PC
• a file (YYMM-XXXXX.PBX) with access licence to the 2N
®
- OMEGA LITE PBX
to be supervised.
PBX Modem Setting
The internal modem is configured using the OMEGA LITE Program
programming tool. The modem is set using AT commands (we do not recommend
you to change the factory settings unless absolutely necessary) and the PBX has to
be RESET upon every change. The modem change will be apparent 10s after the
RESET.
2.14.3. Creating and writing of a gateway remote access code
To enable remote control of 2N
®
- OMEGA LITE PBX, it is necessary to
create an access code and write it into the gateway.
1. Press the „Connect with PBX “ button on the tray.
2. Press button „Create“.
