remote supervision password confirmed.

10. The following data are displayed on the bottom bar from the left to the right:

connection type (MOD);

time of the PBX to be supervised (activity is indicated by a pulsating target);

production number of the PBX to be supervised (YYMM/XXXXX connected).

11. Go on as if you used a serial link.

2.14.8. Downloading Data

With the PBX connected, you can download DATA (billing + system

messages). To download data, press the bar button DOWNLOAD BILLING AND
DIAGN. LINES ($ symbol) of the OMEGA Lite Program tool.

The two DATA types are downloaded together and the course of downloading

is monitored graphically by the so-called thermometer.

To display the DATA, select the WIDNOWS – BILLING DATA menu, or PBX

DIAGNOSTICS.

Data are displayed from the file (YYMM-XXXXX.ACC, or YYMM-XXXXX.DIA)

after being downloaded from the PBX. These files are created upon the first
download in the remote supervision file directory (YYMM-XXXXX.PBX) and
extended with new data upon re-loading.

2.14.9. Panel

Once the connection has been established, you can display the port status

panel of the PBX to be supervised including speech bus configuration by pressing
the WINDOWS – PANEL. With the PBX connected, bus 11 and status ‘call’ shall
always be displayed for the line used for remote supervision.

2.14.10.

Remote Supervision Logistics

A record is made on the remote supervision in progress in the RRMM-

XXXXX.LOG file, including when, how and by which technician the connection was
established and whether the technician downloaded or saved configuration
from/into the PBX.

This file is saved together with the YYMM-XXXXX.PBX file.

2.14.11.

Disconnecting Connection

A modem connection can be discontinued (for cost cutting reasons) by

pressing the bar button DISCONNECT MODEM CONNECTION (‘pause’ symbol
(two perpendicular lines in a green field)).

By pressing this button you discontinue the connection keeping the original

connection settings. This means that to recover connection, you just press the bar
button RECOVER MODEM CONNECTION (‘replay’ symbol (black arrow in a green
field)) and the number will be dialled automatically and the connection will be re-
established.
