TIP

The ControlNet Ex media system is a ground-isolated
network. To help prevent accidental grounding:

Properly select cable, connectors, and
accessories. Local agencies require use of these
items for instrinsically safe system certification.

Use the supplied ight-blue intrinsically-safe
insulators and dust caps to cover exposed metal
parts.

Any accessories should have a dielectric rating of
greater than 500V.

Use good installation techniques.

Use blue tape to help prevent metal-to-ground
connections.
