TIP

If you have configured both a plant model unit and its children for data
collection in the Configuration Console in RSBizWare, then a filter on
that plant model unit will collect data from both the plant model unit

and its children, grouped according to the level of plant model.

The Filtering parameter allows you create one or more filters that
will limit the information displayed in the report. When applied to a

report, the field and value pairs that you create are used to filter out
data.

Each row in the Filtering parameter consists of:

• A filtering definition area (page 92).
• A removal icon (page 93).

When you configure a filtering parameter, you must specify the field
that will be used to filter the information, and a value for that field.

For example, if you select Parts as the filtering field and you specify

P3463ZX as the field value, your report will contain information for
that part only.

You can also filter your data using multiple fields’ values. For
example, if you select EventName as the filtering field and you
specify Fault and Pass as the field values, you report will contain
information on those two events.

Filtering on multiple values within a single field is equivalent to an

OR operation. Filtering on multiple fields is equivalent to an AND
