7. Configure the new drive.
a. Type the drive Name.
b. Select an Ethernet Address option.
In this example, the Private Network
address is selected.
c. Enter the address of your
EtherNet/IP module.
In this example, the last octet of the address is 1. The IP address must match the IP address configured on
page 29 .
8. Click OK to close the New Module dialog box.
Your 2198-H
xxx-ERS servo drive appears in the Controller Organizer
under the Ethernet controller in the I/O Configuration folder.
9. Click Close to close the Select Module Type dialog box.
10. Right-click the 2198-H
xxx-ERS servo drive you just created and choose
Properties.
The Module Properties dialog box opens.
11. Click the Associated Axes
tab.
12. Click New Axis.
The New Tag dialog box
opens.
