FactoryTalk AssetCentre installation disc in ME Transfer Utility\METUSetup.exe.

Also, for Disaster Recovery functions, the agent computer MUST have the appropriate
RSLogix family software for your devices.

Upgrading

If you are upgrading from an earlier version of FactoryTalk AssetCentre, you may need to
manually upgrade some associated Rockwell Software products including FactoryTalk
Services Platform. See Chapter 2 “Upgrading FactoryTalk AssetCentre” beginning on
page 11 for details.

Once you have completed upgrading associated Rockwell Software products, follow the
instructions in this chapter to upgrade each FactoryTalk AssetCentre agent. Instructions
particular to upgrading are provided on the screen. Components that are already installed
will be skipped. (Once you start the installation, depending on how many components are
already installed, it may skip directly to step 20 on page 59.)

Check and install FactoryTalk Services Platform patches

See “Before you begin, check and install FactoryTalk Services Platform and FactoryTalk
View patches” on page 14.
